Zigzag Blanket

Here's the continuation of my zigzag lapghan. It's getting along. I crochet while I watch M.A.S.H. at night after work.

Coolest Tiny Crochets!

This is the coolest miniature blanket, done in granny squares. Here's a link to see the other cool little items. I've made tiny hats before, but I've given them all away. I'll try to make a few more and put them on, because they're really cute!

New Blog

This will now be my crafty blog, and princessgreeneyesandherpets.blogspot.com will be my pets/family/life blog. I realize a switchover like this will likely rattle some people, but I'm sure we can all adjust under the pressure. :) I'm not sure if I can transfer blogs from handmade to princess, but if I can't, the world will still go on.

Mango

Mango has been a little turkey lately, and I believe that I've figured out why. He's just over a year, and he's been pretty cranky. He used to love to sit on my shoulder for hours and chirp at me, but now he doesn't want much to do with me. I think he's hit bird puberty. He's looking around for a girlfriend. I've got a teenage lovebird on my hands, and I hope he gets over it soon. :) I've considered trying to breed him, but first I'd need more space, time, and money, so that won't be for a while. Oh, well. Maybe it's just a small taste of what it will be like to have human teenage children. :P
